Circular Economy Skills Initiative
The Circular Economy Skills Initiative provides career-opportunities for women and men who have an interest in prolonging the life-cycle of our white goods in the interest of sustainability, reduced waste and environmental wellbeing.
The curriculum describes a career pathway for field service technicians to attract new entrants and create a steady supply into the sector to address a growing requirement with regard to maintenance, repair and recycling of white goods.
Participants of this programme will complete a 36-week training course which incorporates an extensive work placement. White Goods Association members have agreed to support the 12-week work experience component of the course.
