Access to Apprenticeship

The Technological University of Dublin offers a programme that supports the transition of young people (16-24) from disadvantaged backgrounds into an apprenticeship scheme. This is a 12 week full-time programme that covers the following topics:
• Sample a range of apprenticeships in; Construction, Engineering, Electrical, Motor and Aviation industries
• Preparation of CV and Interview Skills
• Two weeks of work experience
• Health & Safety and Safe Pass Certificate
A particular focus of this programme is to support women to go into craft apprenticeships.
