Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Platform Project
The aim of the project is to contribute in every aspect to increase resource efficiency and circularity in the industry, priority sectors and value chains in Istanbul; to create a sustainable structure for this and to develop the capacities of the stakeholders. In this context, a Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Platform will be established, companies identified in priority sectors will be provided with one-on-one analysis, consultancy and training services regarding the circular economy and resource efficiency. In addition, sectoral roadmaps and action plans will be created to develop collaborations, training and education in related fields will be provided. It will be aimed to leave a sustainable impact by organizing certificate programs.
The Circular Economy and Resource Efficiency Platform Project is carried out in partnership with the Business World and Sustainable Development Association (SDG Turkey) and the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO). The project will be carried out between February 15, 2022 – August 15, 2023.
Activities planned within the scope of the project:
Preliminary work, coordination, evaluation of analysis reports and preparation of a general evaluation report by consolidating the outputs of the analysis report for the analyzes to be carried out for the 21 companies to be selected
Giving circular economy training to the selected companies, providing technical support for cooperation activities by making analyzes for the 3 determined sectors, and preparing sectoral action plans
Planning and editing, moderation and reporting of the outputs of a total of 12 workshops to be held for the 3 determined sectors
