Technical Assistance Project for Evaluation of Turkey’s Potential for Transition to Circular Economy
The project, whose opening meeting was held on May 23, 2022, aims to strengthen Turkey’s institutional and technical capacity in the transition to a circular economy in line with the EU Circular Economy Model. Within the scope of the 3-year project, Turkey’s potential for transition to a circular economy will be evaluated, the management capacities of national and local governments will be improved in terms of integrated waste management, and a "National Strategy and Action Plan" will be developed in line with the EU Circular Economy Model.
Within the scope of the project’s activity titled "Comparison of the EU Circular Economy Package and the Context of Turkey", a market research was initiated to collect detailed information and to get the opinions and suggestions of the stakeholders.
In addition to being a consortium partner in the project, SKD Turkey is among the stakeholder non-governmental organizations whose opinion is sought within the framework of market research.
